Critical Security Update for Paxton10 Multi-Site Systems – Paxton10 v4.9 Release

Critical security update for Paxton10 Multi-site systems - Update to Paxton10 v4.9

Existing Multi-site systems operating on v4.8 or below will no longer connect to the Paxton10 server after Wednesday, March 11.

Update to v4.9 or higher to ensure a continued connection to the Paxton10 server.
Please note: Systems with multi-sites that have not updated will show as offline, it will only be possible to bring your sites back online with intervention from Paxton's Technical Support team.

Any offline multi-sites will remain secure and function with the last configuration update they received. However, it will not be possible to receive any further configuration changes from the server or add new multi-sites, until the software is updated.

Multi-subnets are not affected and will continue to work as normal.

To check which version of the software is running and to update, please follow these steps:
Please note, System Engineer software permissions are required to install the update.
  1. Click on the settings icon in the top right corner of the Paxton10 software
  2. Open the 'About' tab
  3. Click 'Check for updates'
  4. Follow the steps on screen to complete the update
If you are unable to update the software before this deadline, please get in touch with the Paxton Technical Support team HERE.
