GST HST Tax Break December 14 2024 to February 15 2025

The Canadian government has  implemented a GST/HST tax break between Dec 14th, 2024 and Feb 15th, 2025 on a narrow selection of product types as noted below.  However none of the items sold by Aartech qualify for the tax break so taxes will apply as normal during this period.

The items that qualify are:

1. Food
   
2. Beverages
   
3. Restaurants
   
4. Children's Clothing, diapers, car seats, toys
   
5. Jigsaw puzzles
   
6. Video game consoles, controllers and physical video games
   
7. Physical books
   
8. Printed newspapers
   
9. Christmas and similar decorative trees:
