Hikvision HikConnect Error Code 260015
This error is quite rare and could be caused by a number of issues including insufficient Internet bandwidth at the NVR location, on the streaming device (eg phone), issues with traffic shaping or firewall configuration, as well as internal network congestion. Your installer will need to review this issue prior to taking any action.
In some rare cases it can be resolved by ensuring all cameras have the iFrame rate set to the same as the Frame rate. These are two separate settings and MUST be checked directly on the camera log-in page not the NVR set up screen.
This is an advanced procedure and should only be performed by a pro installer or on guidance directly from Hikvision. We will NOT provide any support or accept any liability for issues created by attempting this procedure.
1) connect a laptop of computer with a direct ethernet cable to one of the nvr camera ports
2) set the laptop to the same IP range as the cameras. If you
haven't changed the range, by default it would be 192.168.254.xxx meaning you
might put the laptop to be ip 192.168.254.250 with subnet mask
255.255.255.0
3) log in to each CAMERA one at a time, using a browser on this directly connected laptop, go to the
video menu and set the 'i-frame interval" to match the 'frame rate'. Eg
both may be 15 or 20.
4) make sure the camera settings on the NVR match the camera settings as well
