How to Factory Reset a Weiser Halo, Aura, or Aura Reach Smart Lock
A factory reset should only be performed when transferring ownership of the lock, if you've lost access to your phone, or when troubleshooting persistent setup or installation issues.
Performing a factory reset will erase all Bluetooth pairings, Wi-Fi network settings, user associations, access codes, event history, and any customized lock settings, including the lock handing. The lock will be restored to its factory default state, deactivated, and will need to be set up again as a new device.
Before You Begin: If possible, remove the lock from your Home in the Weiser app before performing the reset. You should also remove the lock from your phone's Bluetooth device list by selecting Forget Device in your phone's Bluetooth settings.
Please follow the instructions below based on the type of lock you have installed.
