Integrating Elk M1 Gold with Insteon via ISY99 / ISY994
It is possible for an Elk M1 Gold to 'see' Insteon status and also control Insteon devices through an ISY99 or ISY994 automation controller without having to purchase any additional software. Using this method, one will program any Elk-Insteon events using ElkRP as the ISY would not see any of the Elk events.

For those who wish to do all the programming for Elk events, in the ISY controller, there is an excellent add-on software upgrade from Universal-Devices directly called 'Elk Integration'. With this purchase, the ISY will be able to see all kinds of Elk events including Zone status, exit timers, Armed status, alarm events, outputs and more. It's an excellent upgrade and well worth the expense. Once the Integration module has been purchased through the ISY administration panel, enter the Elk particulars in the configuration screen. In this case, it is not necessary to export or import any files through ElkRP.
