ISY994 Zwave Support

ISY994 Zwave Support

Users of the ISY994 series of automation controllers (ISY994i, ISY994iR, ISY994iRPro) will soon be able to add a Zwave hardware module to their ISY, add a software plug-in and upgrade to the most current firmware in order to support Zwave devices in addition to Insteon devices.

The expected official release date for the Zwave module and Zwave support is July 1, 2014.  Until then it is a beta product and not available through distribution or resellers.  You can purchase it in its beta form with associated quirks and bugs, directly from Universal Devices.  As soon as they confirm it is officially released and out of Beta status, we will be selling and supporting it here at Aartech Canada as well.

Update Sept 1, 2014:  Universal Devices still has not officially released the Zwave module and do not plan to release it through distribution until it is approved by the Zwave alliance.  They are selling a 'beta' version in the USA but will not be selling that through distribution.  So we are still in a holding pattern.
