NDAA Compliant Security Cameras and NVRs - Canada

NDAA Compliant Security Cameras and NVRs

NDAA as it refers to security cameras, NVRs and telecommunication equipment refers to the American National Defense Authorization Act law that was passed for the 2019 budget to block only United States federal government organizations like the department of defense, from purchasing equipment from select manufacturers, namely ZTE, Hikvision, Dahua, Hytera and Huawei.

The term NDAA Compliant refers to equipment that is not produced by, or have key components from these brands.

Other government organizations, businesses and individuals in the USA are not obligated to abide by this legislation.

At time of writing, Canada has not passed any similar legislation so NDAA is not officially a consideration.  However some may choose to use NDAA compliant equipment of their own accord.

Aartech Canada offers a broad selection of surveillance equipment including NDAA compliant cameras, DVRs and NVRs.
