Paxton Net2Entry Intercom SIP Integration
Paxton Net2Entry Intercom Entry panel can be configured as a SIP client, allowing it to call SIP enabled hardware phones and soft phone clients on PC, Android, iOS etc. Either an on-premise, or cloud based SIP server is required. The soft phone can show the entry panel's video as well as enabling two way voice. The #1 key can also be used to unlock the door/strike connected to the Net2Entry panel.
Note: We do NOT support SIP set up or configuration and neither does Paxton. You should work with someone who understands how to set up SIP servers/phones/software.
The attached files show devices, SIP servers, cloud servers & clients tested by Paxton. You may find that others work as well as SIP is a stanard but there are no guarantees. You will need to test.
Ensure the latest Entry firmware is running on site and nothing below v2.17
IMPORTANT:
If the panel resides on a different VLAN (Virtual Local Area Network)
to that of the hardware it is trying to communicate with, it will not work as
we do not support cross VLAN capabilities
Calls In:
Should
you receive any calls from installers advising of SIP servers they are
using that are not listed here, please advise your supervisor of the SIP
server in use so this can be added
to the KB. It is vital when gathering this information that you
identify if the server is cloud based or LAN based and must include any model numbers, version
numbers and software versions in use.
