Please follow the following steps to configure your power link with any of the Visonic IP Cameras.
Visionic Powerlink Setup & IP cam
The IP cam virtually had no setup required. Once you have the Powerlink working and setup correctly, as soon as you log in you should see your IP cams in the interface already.
Setting up Powerlink
1. Got to Windows Start Menu
2. Click on Run
3. Type CMD – Hit Enter
4. Type “Ipconfig”
5. Take note of the default gateway IP Address.
6. Open a new internet browser page.
7. Type the first three fields of the default gate way IP Address into the URL followed by < .200 > (do not include the < > )
a. For Example:
i. Default Gateway : 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.2.1 (Use the first three fields of whatever your gateway is)
ii. Replace the last field/digit with .200
iii. End result = 192.168.0.200
8. You should now see the Powerlink interface.
9. Default Username & Password:
a. Admin
b. Admin123
Troubleshooting Tips
1. Ensure you have your cat5 network cable connected from the powerlink to your router PRIOR to power the unit up, that also goes for the IP camera you are trying to connect. Must connect hardwired first, then you have the option to change to wifi in the settings.
