Update / Upgrade UNO Touch Screen Keypad

The UNO touch screen keypad software has gone through many updates as it matures.   It's recommended to update to the most current version of the touchscreen app by following the process indicated in their installation guide.

It is also copied below:

  • Close the current instance of the app by touching the Android square icon at the bottom and swiping the app off-screen to close it.
  • Go to Settings -> Apps and find the UNO Keypad app in that list and uninstall it.
  • Open the browser on the touchpad and go to the following link to download the latest version: https://www.connect2go.com/downloads.html
  • The installation should begin automatically. You may get security warnings, but you can ignore them.
  • Once installed, the app icon may appear on the second screen. You can touch and hold the icon and then drag it left to move it to the Home Screen.
  • Relaunch the app.
  • If on relaunch the app does not automatically detect the IP of the old system and ask you for the password and reconnect, you may have to clear the old app storage.
  • If so, close the app again.
  • Go to Settings -> Apps, find this app in the list and select it. Then choose Storage and the option to clear storage.
  • Relaunch the app and it should function as normal.
