Uniview Dual or Back Up Recording

Uniview Dual or Back Up Recording

In some cases the site owner may wish to have a back up or redundant copy of video rather than having it saved to a single NVR.  Generally speaking it is NOT feasible to back up video off site because the amount of data being saved to the NVR is simply too much for an Internet upload.

However it is quite possible and easy to set up a 2nd NVR at the customer premises in a remote, secure or hidden location to have a 2nd secure backup.  This method can also be used to save video for a longer period by setting the 2nd NVR to record at a lower frame rate, lower resolution, or only on motion, etc.
