Why Should I Buy Hikvision from Aartech Canada

When you purchase your Hikvision product from Aartech Canada, you gain the following benefits:

  • You are assured to receive true Hikvision branded product (not gray market, OEM or knock-off)
  • Hikvision Canada will support your product
  • Official Hikvision Canada firmware updates will be made available
  • Hikvision product purchased from Aartech Canada will carry an extra 1 year warranty for a total of 3 years warranty.

 

As Hikvision popularity has grown, there has been an increase in gray market product (product that comes from other countries).  This product will not be supported by Hikvision Canada.

There is also OEM Hikvision product.  It is difficult to confirm if this product is truly OEM Hikvision or a knock-off brand.  Additionally, Hikvision does not provide support for OEM product - you must seek warranty, technical support and firmware updates from the seller.

Last but not least, there has been an increase in knock-off product from offshore that claims to be Hikvision OEM or Hikvision brand.  If you purchase from a source that is not authorized, you cannot be sure you are getting legitimate and/or supported product.
