Are Security Cameras and Video Doorbells Legal in Canada

Generally speaking, it's legal to install video security cameras and video doorbells in your own property where there isn't a reasonable expectation of privacy.  For example, change rooms or bathrooms would be considered a private space.  We wrote a blog post covering the topic of whether it's legal to install video doorbells and security cameras.  You can find the post here.  To be safe, we always recommend speaking with local law enforcement or seeking legal advice.
