Action required: Important security update for Paxton10 Multi-site systems

To maintain security and connectivity, you need to update any Paxton10 Multi-site systems to version v4.7 SR8 or higher by Friday, December 12th. Please also enable the following url on your firewall: broker2.paxtoncloud.com using port 8883.

Without this update, your multi-sites will no longer be able to connect to the Paxton10 server. They will still be secure and function with the last update they received, but they will show as offline in the system. This means you won't be able to make any configuration changes, add new multi-sites, or receive any further updates until the software is updated.

Multi-subnets are not affected and will continue to work as normal.

To check which version of the software is running and to update, please follow these steps:

Please note, System Engineer software permissions are required to install the update

  1. Click on the settings icon in the top right corner of the Paxton10 software
  2. Open the 'About' tab
  3. Click 'Check for updates'
  4. Follow the steps on screen to complete the update

If you are unable to update the software before this deadline, please get in touch with our Technical Support team for advice.
