Important security update for Paxton10 by June30th

Action required by Monday, June 30:

Important security update for Paxton10

To maintain necessary security within Paxton10, systems utilizing any Paxton10 or 3rd party cameras must be updated to v4.6 SR6 or higher by Monday, June 30th.


After this date, video footage will no longer display within the Paxton10 user interface for any cameras on a system running an earlier version of Paxton10.


To check which version of the software is running and to update, please follow these steps:


System Engineer software permissions are required to install the update.


  1. Click on the settings icon in the top right corner of the Paxton10 software
  2. Open the 'About' tab
  3. Click 'Check for updates'
  4. Follow the steps on screen to complete the update


Please note: Paxton10 systems that are not updated to v4.6 SR6 or higher by Monday, June 30th will continue to record and store footage in accordance with the system settings. This footage will be available to view in the Paxton10 user interface as soon as the necessary software version has been installed.
