Both the eisy Lite and eisy Home R2 run the same IoX platform, use the same eisy UI, and support the full plugin catalog. The main difference between the two comes down to system capacity and budget.
The eisy Lite brings the full eisy experience back to a price point similar to the introductory price of the Home R2, before DDR5 SDRAM supply constraints drove production costs higher. It’s designed to deliver all of the core functionality without unnecessary overhead for smaller/mid-sized installations.
The eisy Home R2, on the other hand, is better suited for larger, more demanding deployments where maximum performance is required.
If you’re putting together a larger or more complex system, the Home R2 is the better fit for that kind of workload. If you’re after the full eisy experience at a more budget-friendly price, the Lite will still give you everything you need.
