Net2Online provides simple remote connection to manage Net2Plus systems by web browser or app over an Internet connection. The building must have an available Internet connection and the Net2 Pro software must be current. No port forwarding required and there is no cost for this service.
Net2Online - Registering for the service
Net2Online is our new web browser based Net2 administration tool, giving
access to all the features from the Paxton Connect Admin Tools anywhere
in the world. to register for the service follow the steps below:
For existing sites, already using the Paxton Connect Admin App (or at least registered for access to PCA)

Download the latest release of Net2 from here: www.paxton.info/1438

Backup your Net2 database and run the upgrade software (we strongly
recommend speaking to an installer prior to upgrading your system).

Once complete, open Net2, sign in and go to ‘Options’

Under the Net2Online tab, you will see a URL, or web address, at the bottom of the registration page

The URL, or web address, will connect you directly to your site via a supported web browser

The URL, or web address, will read something like this: www.[sitename].net2online.com

Click the URL, or web address, to open Net2Online in your default browser or copy and paste into your browser address bar

Sign into your system using a valid operator account and password
For new sites:

Complete the registration process for Net2Online using a unique site name and a valid email address

Net2Online / Paxton Connect Admin - Proxy Settings
Some IT networks use a Proxy server. A Proxy server routes all web
traffic to a dedicated server for secuirty and management. Net2 Online
will work with Proxy connections, however it might be needed to allow
certain sites and IP address through the service.

registration.net2online.com - Net2Online Registration Server.
[SITENAME].net2online.com - The login page for the site being used.
net2onlineevents.net2online.com - Net2Online events server
if the database is being used for Alpha or Beta testing the below will also need to be added
[SITENAME].staging.Net2online.com

Note: There are many different proxy configurations. The above was tested on WinGate Proxy Server.
Paxton Connect Admin / Net2 Online - Logging into the app
Phone App:
Paxton Connect Admin app can be found in the appstore on both iOS and Android.

Upon opening the Paxton Connect app, you will need to enter the Site
name followed by User ID and password. The site name and username are
not case sensitive.

The User ID and password will need to be an operator that has been created within Net2.

The access available within the app will be determined by the user's operator rights within Net2.

The default operator 'System Engineer' cannot be used to log in to the app.
Web Browser:
The URL link is found on the Net2Online screen within Net2.

Upon opening the Paxton Connect app, you will need to enter the Site name followed by User ID and password.

The User ID and password will need to be an operator that has been created within Net2.

The access available within the app will be determined by the user's operator rights within Net2.

The default operator 'System Engineer' cannot be used to log in to the app.
NOTE: When logging in, the User ID is in the format [First Name] [Last Name]. For example: John Smith
