Compatibility & Functionality Overview
The Eyezon UNO5500RF keypad is designed as an economical secondary interface for DSC PowerSeries alarm systems. This keypad provides basic arm/disarm functionality and wireless zone enrollment, but it is not a full-function programming keypad and is not compatible with DSC Neo systems.
It is important to note that the UNO5500RF is not a full programming keypad. No access to installer or system programming, Cannot configure system options or module settings, Cannot enroll the main panel or perform system-level adjustments, Because of this, a full DSC PowerSeries programming keypad is still required (e.g., PK5500, RFK5500, or equivalent).
The UNO5500RF is ideal as a secondary or convenience keypad, Additional keypad for a garage, back door, utility room, or secondary entry point. Arm/disarm access for tenants, staff, or family members, Wireless zone receiver for PowerSeries wireless sensors.
However, if you are installing or servicing a system, you must have a full-function PowerSeries keypad available for programming.
The Eyezon UNO5500RF provides a reliable and cost-effective arming station for DSC PowerSeries systems, but it should only be used as a secondary keypad. Installers and end-users will still require a standard PowerSeries keypad for panel enrollment, configuration, and programming. It is also not compatible with any DSC NEO panel.
