How to run multiple ELK sirens off DSC1832 Alarm system.
The ELK SS30, ELK 74 and ELK SS36 are Self-Contained Siren Drivers that require 12 VDC to operate. The Bell Output from the DCSP1832 will need to provide +12VDC
at 2 AMPS in order to connect all three to the panel. If the Bell Output of the DCS P1832 does not have 2 AMPS of available current then you will need a relay for example the ELK 912 or ELK 924 and a secondary 12 VDC 2 AMP power supply to connect all three
sirens to the DSC panel. The ELK 912/924 will connect to the Bell Output and act as switch to switch the 12VDC from the secondary to the ELK SS30, ELK 74 and ELK SS36.
